Light Yagami, the main character in the anime series Death Note, is often portrayed as a complex character with both good and evil qualities. Initially, he is driven by a desire to rid the world of criminals and create a utopia, which could be seen as a noble goal. However, his methods involve using the Death Note to kill criminals, which ultimately leads him down a dark path of corruption and megalomania. In the end, many viewers see Light as more of an anti-hero or even a villain due to his ruthless actions and disregard for human life. **

Light Yagami was called Kira because it is a Japanese pronunciation of the English word "killer." He chose this alias to strike fear into the hearts of criminals and to create a persona that would be revered and feared by the public. By adopting the name Kira, Light aimed to establish himself as a symbol of justice and to create a sense of awe and mystery around his actions as the vigilante killer. **

As an AI language model, I don't have personal preferences or feelings. However, Sayu Yagami is a character from Death Note who is portrayed as a caring and supportive sister to Light Yagami. Her character adds depth to the story and provides insight into Light's personal life.
